    The position reports directly to the Associate Dean, Program Development and Quality Assurance.  The incumbent supports the program review and program development teams through the completion of environmental scans.


    Specific Responsibilities Include:

    • Compiling key sources of primary and secondary data to inform the review and development of programs;
    • Providing concise analyses of data and presenting conclusions to the Associate Dean;
    • Working collaboratively on departmental research projects, with guidance from the research analyst;
    • Gathering relevant information, analysis, and reporting data in a way suitable to the audience;
    • Problem-solving challenging research situations where standard sources are not available, or up-to-date, or are contradictory;
    • Communicating results verbally and in writing;
    • Performing other related duties as assigned.




    The successful candidate will possess a Master’s degree or higher in Social Science, Humanities, Research or a related field, with a minimum of two years’ experience in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative primary and secondary data (or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience). The incumbent will have strong research skills, with the ability to synthesize data and create written reports on findings. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work in a team environment is essential.
