Salary Range: $62,717 - $108,723 (based on relevant educational qualifications and experience)
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Sheridan is seeking a professor who will be responsible for curriculum leadership in the field of Philosophy and who will teach a range of courses at the introductory and advanced levels. A strong interdisciplinary bent in the candidate’s field of study would be a definite asset, as would demonstrated expertise in either Indigenous North American epistemologies or Non-Western philosophical traditions. The successful candidate will develop an effective learning environment for students, as well as respect the individual learning styles and diverse cultural and educational backgrounds of students in applied degrees and other postsecondary programs. The candidate should be committed to working in a team environment that supports distinctive programming.
