Sheridan is looking for outstanding individuals to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the chemical sciences and will teach a range of course areas including chemical engineering (unit operations, fluid mechanics, process control, transport processes, environmental applications, creative problem solving etc.) and the primary disciplines of Chemistry (analytical, organic, inorganic, physical, environmental applications, green/ sustainable chemistry, etc.) to students in the Faculty of Applied Science and Technology. S/he will also contribute to program and curriculum development for the Chemical and Environmental technologies programs. With the increased focus on Applied Research and Industry Projects in the Faculty, the successful candidate will contribute their expertise in this emerging area.
Sheridan faculty provide academic leadership to programs and courses within their areas of expertise and contribute to the creation of a learning-centred environment where students can develop to their full potential. They also contribute to College, Faculty and program excellence by collaborating on a variety of initiatives such as new program development, applied research and alternative delivery strategies.
